All products sold by Hastyle Performance LLC are intended for high-performance and off-road use unless otherwise stated. Installation of aftermarket engine components may affect vehicle warranty and emissions compliance.
Professional Installation Required
Engine components, including rod bolts, must be installed by a qualified engine builder or machinist using proper tools and procedures. Proper measurement practices — including bolt stretch verification and inspection of connecting rod big-end geometry — are required.
When upgrading from factory torque-to-yield bolts to ARP2000 rod bolts, connecting rods must be checked for big-end roundness and sizing. Installation of higher-strength fasteners may distort the rod bore, and resizing of the big end is commonly required to maintain proper bearing clearance and geometry.
Customer Responsibility
The purchaser assumes full responsibility for ensuring proper installation, inspection, tuning, and use of all products. Failure to follow correct installation procedures — including verifying bolt stretch and confirming big-end geometry — may result in engine damage.
Limitation of Liability
By purchasing and/or using products from Hastyle Performance LLC, the customer agrees that the company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to engine failure, labor costs, towing, downtime, or loss of income.
Warranty
Warranty, if applicable, is limited to replacement of the defective product only. Labor, related parts, machining costs, and secondary damages are not covered.
